As of 3 December 2021, New Zealand moves into the COVID-19 Protection Framework, (traffic light system) and our businesses will be adopting the new framework to ensure our tour can operate as freely as possible while keeping our staff and visitors safe. We can safely operate at all levels in the new system with special requirements.
From 3 December 2021 and transitioning until 15th December 2021 visitors to our businesses will need to:
All of the staff at Gannet Safaris Overland are 100% double vaccinated.
All our buses are sanitised between tours. We have sanitiser and masks available for public use.
We are looking forward to a busy and safe summer season, and look forward to sharing or experience with you all.
Gannet Safaris Overland team.
Do I need to wear a mask?
The traffic light system recommends masks are worn at all levels, so we are asking our guests and staff to continue wearing their masks indoors an on our buses at all traffic light levels. Guests under the aged of 12 do not need to wear masks.
Do I need to scan in?
Yes, scanning in using the NZ COVID Tracer App (or manually signing in) is required at all traffic light levels. Please ensure you scan in before entering our premises.
I’m double vaccinated but don’t have a My Vaccine Pass. Can I still join the tour?
Unfortunately, no, we do need to sight and/or verify your My Vaccine Pass on arrival to allow you onto the bus.
If you don’t already have a My Vaccine Pass you can visit the covid19.govt.nz website or phone 0800 222 478 to get your pass.
What if I am already booked on a tour but aren’t fully Vaccinated?
If you made a booking for a tour before 3rd December and don’t have a pass then we will fully refund you the ticket price. Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to organise.
If you have booked after this date and cant show a pass on arrival you will not be refunded the ticket price.
